Q. When I use Smart Handling in 'Date + Time' mode after having changed some files, I get the message that no files have been changed.
A. In 'Date + Time' mode the modification date and time are compared between the original files and the duplicate files. If you choose 'Date + Time', then a file is handled only if the original file was modified at a later date, or at a later time on the same date, as the duplicate file. Once a file has been handled, it will not be handled again, until you change it.
For example, if you synchronized your duplicate web folder after you had made your changes and clicked the 'Optimize' button in the dialog, you cannot use the 'Date + Time' mode again. In that case you should use the 'Today' mode if you made the changes today or the 'Since <date>' mode if you made the changes since a previous date.
 
Q. When I optimize my web pages with the default setting in Optimization Options, some pages got errors.
A. In that case you should select "Only waste returns" instead of "All returns". If this does not help then turn off any of the other optimization options until you have found the option that causes the error. Finally select again those options that did not cause the error.
 
Q. I purchased a license and received a serial number, but it does not work.
A. If your serial number does not work, it's because you have not submitted your correct computer user name (case-sensitive!) when you purchased your license. Contact us to get the right serial number and don't forget to include your computer user name which you can see if you click the link 'user name' in the Register or Upgrade window. See its reduced picture below (which may look different on your computer).

Q. When I choose 'Check for Updates' I get an error that version information could not be found. What's wrong?
A. This is most likely caused by your firewall. Add a rule to allow the program to make a connection via port 80 (http).
